What does not need permission
Search engines, social networks and similar services may cache, index and show our images as part of linking back to the page they appear on. That is expected use and needs no request. Linking to any page on this site is always welcome.

Requesting a license
We license images one at a time. Tell us which image you want, where it will appear and for how long, and we will reply with terms. Requests from local media, educators and non-competing businesses are usually simple.

Some pest identification photos on this site come from other photographers under their own licenses, such as Creative Commons. Where that applies, the photographer and the license are printed with the photo. Those photos are not covered by this page and cannot be licensed from us.
